I am a soon-to-be freshman at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. I am double-majoring in Economics and Business Leadership and pursuing an Honors degree. I am in Las Vegas, my hometown, for the summer, however. I graduated from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts with a 4.8 GPA and 11 AP Courses.
Experience
I just graduated from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts as valedictorian. I took a total of 11 AP courses throughout my high school career and scored 4s and 5s on all AP exams. I scored in the 90th-95th percentiles on the ACT and SAT and took SAT Subject Tests in Spanish and World History. Additionally, I volunteered as a student tutor at my high school, tutoring students in all levels of high school mathematics as well as Spanish, as I am a fluent Spanish speaker. I started tutoring in high school, gathering clients through friends and personal connections and look forward to expanding my client base. I currently privately tutor middle and elementary school students in reading, writing, grammar, math, and science. As a recent high school graduate, I have unique and personal insight into the AP program, the college application process, and navigating the crazy world of high school in general, and I'm eager to share my expertise with new clients.
