I attended California Lutheran University for my bachelor's degree in math. I enjoy showing students that math can be fun, and that it's not as hard as they think it is. I show students how math is used in everyday life, and I help them relate abstract concepts to applications in the real world. I also focus on explain topics in clear ways to make the learning process easier. I ask students lots of questions during our sessions to determine where there make progress and where they still need help. I also use games and humor to keep students interested in having fun. I love math, and I love helping others improve their understanding of it. When I have some spare time, I enjoy playing board games, tabletop games, and video games.
