Education
I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2006. I earned a degree from the Business College, Computer Information Systems with at 3.5 GPA. I enjoyed my time in Reno, but needed a change. I currently work for the Center of Academic Enrichment & Outreach program at UNLV. Our Program targets low income first generation students enroll in post-secondary education.
Experience
My tutoring experience began 7 years ago with the GEAR UP Program. I tutored middle school students in Science, English and Math. This is where I noticed students are eager to learn, but need extra help to achieve their potential. I want to be a tutor because I know some students need that extra attention to achieve greatness. I am very patient and I have been blessed with great Math teachers in my life.
