I had an influential teacher in medical school who always said that the best way of teaching is to make it interesting and to teach it in a manner that makes sense. I take those ideas with me to every tutoring session because I believe that learning can be a fun and interesting experience. I strive to teach in a clear and concise manner that makes information attainable no matter how abstract the concepts. I earned my bachelor's degree at the University of Puerto Rico in General Biology. I continued my education at the University of Monterrey in Mexico and in 2006, I earned my MD. My extensive medical and science background makes me a very knowledgeable tutor in anatomy, biology, and physiology. After completing my degree in Mexico, I relocated to Las Vegas and attended culinary school. I have experience working with Boy Scouts and teaching merit badge classes. In addition, I have experience working as a science and math tutor. Some of my personal interests are cooking, biking, hiking, listening to music, downhill skiing, playing video games, and watching movies.
