Education

I graduated with a BA in elementary education with emphasis in special education from Nevada State College in 2012. Nevada state College has an amazing and in-depth teaching program. The professors have all been or are still in the classroom. They definitely teach the most up-to-date and effective teaching strategies and information. I completed my student teaching at Robert elementary school in 3rd grade and a resource room.

Experience

I have taught kindergarten for 3 years. I have tutored children with autism for 4 years using ABA. I have tutored children in reading and math from grades k-5th. As a child I was moved around a lot and would get behind in school. I remember each of the teachers who tutored me outside of school and I am so thankful for them! I want to provide the same experience for other students!!
