Hello. My name is Thomas and I live in Henderson, Nevada. I attended St. John's Seminar and Mount Saint Mary's College. I spent more than three decades in education and just retired from a private parochial school where I served as principal. My philosophy is that education should provide students an opportunity and the tools to learn, serve, and lead. Throughout my career, I was fortunate enough to have so many different experiences and interactions with other teachers, parents, and students that I came to truly understand diversity and what that means in order to help a student become a successful learner. My strongest talents like in my positive outlook, organizational skills, love for teaching, and ability to build highly effective relationships. I can tutor a number of subjects including Algebra 1, Elementary Math, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, American History, and Study Skills and Organization. I like to run, go to the gym, play tennis, read, travel, and do woodworking.
